Answer-first guidance

Trade FAQ

Which zips do you use on your cushions?

We use YKK zips on every cushion. Zip type, position and length are agreed per brief, and recorded with the approved sample so repeat orders match.

What thread do you use for the seams?

Structural seams are sewn with Coats thread. We record the thread with the specification, so repeat orders are made with the same components.

Which insert should I specify: microfibre, duck feather or goose feather and down?

Microfibre gives an even, consistent loft. Duck feather feels firmer and weightier. Goose feather and down is soft and lofty, and needs plumping. Tell us the feel and use, and we confirm composition and fill weight.

How full should an insert be?

Inserts are usually specified slightly larger than the cover for a full look. The right amount depends on the style, the cover fabric and the fill. We confirm the insert size and fill weight with the specification.

Can the insert be removed from the cover?

Yes. A zip closure lets the insert be removed for cleaning or replacement. Zip position and length are agreed per brief, and care instructions are recorded with the approved sample.

Which cushion finishes can I choose?

Piping, flange, ruffle, trims and embroidery placement, agreed per brief. Approve the finish on a sample, because the fabric body affects loft, corners and gathers.

Specifications, lead times and warranty terms are confirmed for each order in writing. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected.
