A brand name is not a complete motor specification
Curtain-track motors, roller tubular motors and Roman lift systems do different jobs. Specify the headrail or track, moving load and control method as a compatible assembly.
- Confirm motor model, rated load and permitted track or blind dimensions.
- Identify battery, low-voltage or mains power and service access.
- Specify remote channels, grouping, limit setting and any automation hub.
Fabrication & specification notes
Do not assume a Somfy protocol can communicate directly with another brand or that Forest curtain hardware operates a Roman system. Wi-Fi, RF, dry-contact and hub-mediated control are different choices. Confirm the exact integration and accessories before giving your client a compatibility promise.
Track geometry and fixing strength shape the result
Straight, curved, double and recessed tracks require clear measurements and access. A concealed installation still needs an accessible service route and adequate fixing support.
- Measure bends, radius, returns, recess and stack space.
- Check track/carrier compatibility with curtain heading.
- Allow the motor and curtain stacks to clear obstructions.
Fabrication & specification notes
The complete curtain load includes face fabric, lining, interlining and trim. Bracket spacing, allowable spans and fixing substrate follow the actual hardware specification. More motor torque cannot fix an unsupported rail or an excessive friction problem.
Commissioning closes the handover
Record limits, control grouping and any user instructions at installation. Agree who provides power, who installs and who commissions before manufacture.

Keep site responsibility clear from the first quote. Eligible Sydney trade projects can request supply only, measuring, installation, or a combined measuring and installation scope.
- Measure openings, access constraints and relevant fixing conditions before production.
- Coordinate installation around the approved product, substrate, hardware and site readiness.
- Confirm power and commissioning responsibilities for motorised systems.
- Record who approves final dimensions and who supplies fixings or access equipment.
On-site support is not automatically included in product supply. It is separately assessed, scheduled and quoted after reviewing the suburb, site access and project brief.

Brand options are discussed for compatible available systems. Specific authorization and product availability must be confirmed; the website does not imply every brand supports every LuxAura product.
Can LuxAura arrange measuring and installation in Sydney?
Yes. Sydney measuring, installation, or both can be requested for eligible trade projects. On-site support is separately scoped and quoted; availability, access, fixing substrate, power, final measurements and commissioning responsibilities are confirmed before the order proceeds.
Specifications, lead times and warranty terms are confirmed for each order in writing. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected.
