Keep site responsibility clear from the first quote. Eligible Sydney trade projects can request supply only, measuring, installation, or a combined measuring and installation scope.
- Measure openings, access constraints and relevant fixing conditions before production.
- Coordinate installation around the approved product, substrate, hardware and site readiness.
- Confirm power and commissioning responsibilities for motorised systems.
- Record who approves final dimensions and who supplies fixings or access equipment.
On-site support is not automatically included in product supply. It is separately assessed, scheduled and quoted after reviewing the suburb, site access and project brief.
Measuring and installation are available across Sydney: the CBD and inner city, Eastern Suburbs, Inner West, Lower and Upper North Shore, Northern Beaches, Southern Sydney, Western Sydney and the Hills District. Supply-only orders are delivered Australia-wide.

Which Roman blind construction should I specify?
It depends on the fabric and the look. LuxAura makes the full range, including flat, relaxed, London, Austrian, balloon, waterfall and pleated styles, with shaped hems and dual layers. We advise on construction and fabric together before production, so the folds suit the fabric and the room.
Where is LuxAura based, and who do you supply?

Can you manufacture Roman blinds using our fabric?

How wide can a Roman blind be?
Manual Roman blinds go up to 2.3m wide. Our usual maximum size is 340cm wide by 300cm drop, depending on the fabric type. Larger motorised blinds are possible by arrangement.
Can a Roman blind cover a three-metre window?
Yes, with a motorised blind. Manual operation stops at 2.3m wide, but a 3m window falls within our usual maximum of 340cm wide, depending on the fabric type. Send the window size and fabric and we will confirm.
How large can a motorised Roman blind be?
Motorised blinds up to 5 to 6m wide are possible for larger projects, limited mainly by transport and by the fabric. Each large blind is planned individually, and two blinds side by side sometimes suit the window better.
Which motors do you supply?
We supply Somfy, Dooya and A-OK motorisation. Each motor is checked against the actual headrail and lifted load, so the blind operates reliably for its size and fabric weight.
Are all Roman styles available with every motor brand?
Not always. Availability depends on the style, size and fabric weight. We confirm the style and motor combination at quote stage, before any fabric is cut.
Which linings can I specify for light control?
Roman blinds can be lined for a light-filtering or blockout effect, or made unlined in suitable fabrics. We confirm the lining against your fabric when we quote.
Which fabrics suit Roman blinds?
Stable, medium-weight fabrics fold best. Very heavy, stiff or loosely woven fabrics can affect folding, stacking and light control, and the maximum size also depends on fabric type. We check every fabric before production.
Can you supply the fabric as well?
Yes. Use your own fabric, LuxAura Linen, or an Australian trade brand. We can also apply trims to the finished blind, so fabric, trim and make-up come from one supplier.
Can one fabric and trim run across curtains, Roman blinds and cushions?
Yes. LuxAura makes curtains, Roman blinds and cushions, so one fabric and matching trims can run across a whole scheme in a single order.
Do you have trade pricing for curtain retailers and workrooms?
Yes. LuxAura supplies wholesale Roman blinds to the trade only, including curtain retailers and workrooms. Pricing is provided on application and quote, with no public price list.
Do you measure and install Roman blinds in Sydney?
Yes, by arrangement. Choose supply only, measuring, installation, or a combined scope. On-site work is separately assessed, scheduled and quoted, and site responsibilities are agreed in writing from the first quote.
Do Sydney strata buildings restrict Roman blind backing?
Some do. Strata by-laws in Sydney buildings often require window coverings to show a consistent colour from outside, commonly white or neutral. Check the building's by-laws before specifying, and send us the requirement so we can confirm the lining.
Which fabrics hold up to Sydney sun?
Strong sun can fade fabric, particularly on north- and west-facing windows. Lining adds protection, and a fabric's colourfastness to light matters. Tell us the window aspect and we will advise on fabric and lining.
